Are your Social Media Accounts Festive Enough...

The festive season is upon us and a perfect opportunity to get a little creative with your social media accounts.

December is a busy month for Christmas Parties, events and ensuring work is finished for the year but don't neglect your social media accounts this month. We thought we would share a few tips with you to help you along the way:

Tip One: Strategy

Make sure you have a strategy for the month - so many businesses don't during December but users are still online ready to share your content so plan, plan, plan.  Ask yourself what do you want your accounts to do this month - generate interests for January sales, December offers, thank clients for a fab year..... so many possibilities if planned right!

Tip Two: Images

Give your social media profiles a festive look. You can change and adapt your cover photos/timeline images to make the most of the time of the year.  A great example here:

Or how about an advent promotion or 12 days of Christmas - the perfect time to get a little creative!

Tip Three: Christmas Opening Hours

Many businesses take the opportunity to close at Christmas and social media is perfect to let your customers know if you are opened or closed.  Keeping people informed helps to manage expectations!

Tip Four: Generate interest for January Sales / Offers

Are you planning ahead to promote January offers and sales?  From early December it is advisable if you are looking to run any January Sales/offers etc that you start to promote the launch date so everyone is aware and you start to build up a little excitement...

Tip Five: Keep it Light-Hearted

Show the human side to your business this Christmas.  Share photos of your premises with Christmas Decorations up, staff in Christmas Jumpers, photos of your Christmas cards etc keep it light-hearted...

Tip Six: Plan ahead for January

It will be January before you know if so make sure you plan ahead so you start 2018 with a bang!
